Matchday timeline for Kyoto Sanga FC: arrive early, food before the game, kick-off, and tips for getting back

Arrive about 90 minutes before kick-off. This modern football-only stadium puts you close to the pitch, and the food stalls feature Kyoto ingredients such as Kujo green onions.

Weather and what to bring

A large roof covers the stands, so rain is less of a worry. Winter is a different story: Kameoka sits in a basin and gets bitterly cold on winter evenings. For a full checklist, see what to bring to a J.League match, and for December and February games, what to wear to a winter match.
