Matchday Japan is written by a football fan based in Japan. It started because visitors kept asking the same questions: how do I buy tickets, which station do I need, and where should I stay?

Japanese stadiums are friendly and easy to enjoy, but much of the practical information is only in Japanese. These guides bring it together in English, so you can spend less time planning and more time at the game.

How these guides are made

Travel times, ticket steps and stadium details are checked against official sources such as club and stadium websites, and combined with tips from fans who go to games. Each guide shows the date its travel details were last checked. If something has changed, pleaselet me know.
